Watched a new movie today that is just out on DVD. The movie is The Place beyond the Pines and stars famous actors like Ryan Gosling, Eva Mendez, Bradley Cooper and Ray Liotta. The movie starts out by following the motorcycle rider Luke who is a bike rider at a carnival.
Luke finds out that he has a son with the character played by Eva Mendez and finding this out totally changes Lukes life and leads him into a criminal career in order to support his child. Bradley Cooper plays a cop that has a meeting with Luke which totally changes boths future.
The movie starts out really good and takes several turns during the 2 hour and 20 minutes it continues for. I really liked the beginning of the movie but the ending did not really keep up with the beginning. I thought the ending of the movie was quite easy to know what was going to happen.
After all I give this movie a rating of 8 out of 10 at IMDB which is a very high rating from me. I would recommend anyone to go and see this movie since it has a really good story and good acting from all the lead actors.
